Why we exist?

The greatest education is the knowledge of God

The Bible delegates the responsibility for training young people to two agencies: the family and church. The Bible commands us to obey God (Matt.22:37-40, John 14:23) and the authorities (Romans 13).

The government requires all children to attend an organized education program. Therefore, the role of SCA is to assist the family in their responsibilities of raising godly young people, while satisfying government requirements for education as long as these requirements don’t conflict with God’s commands.

Our Mission

Train up a child in the way he should go...

It is the Mission of Sulamita Christian Academy, to provide an education for our students in the truth of God’s word, in every area of instruction and activity, so that the students’ lives may be transformed by renewing their minds in Christ Jesus. Our Christian education seeks to teach children about the world God has created, how our faith is embedded into each area of learning, and how to find a purpose and meaning through God’s will for their lives.

We sincerely believe that our mission is to help develop students both academically and spiritually so that when they depart from Sulamita Christian Academy, they are firmly rooted in Christ Jesus. We will provide every student with an education that overflows with Biblical truth in every subject, surround them with examples of servant leaders, and encourage them to utilize their minds and actions to develop a worldview founded in our Christian faith.

Our goal is also to instill in each student, the position to serve the Lord Jesus Christ through their character and leadership. SCA challenges each student to become  Christ like leaders in their school, families, churches, communities and future vocations. To learn more about our belief, please read our statement of faith.

Our curriculum

A solid foundation built on Biblical values

The textbooks and curriculum materials used at Sulamita Christian Academy were specifically designed for students attending a Christian school. These materials honor God, His Word, and while providing excellent academic material, they also relate academic truth to the supreme truth of the Scriptures. We use the Abeka® curriculum in K-5 through the 8th grades. Pen Foster program for high school students.

Who we are

Meet our team

The most important requirements for the instructional staff are an unselfish spirit of dedication to children, a belief that the Christian school ministry is their service to God, and a complete and personal acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ.
